Dalton Day

Quick for Picture

I lose my focus
when the sun drags its paws

Across the back of my neck

I do not feel threatened
Not here
Such is a body

I am bright

Because you are looking at me

& fangs split
into one or more sources
of wind

This is how we turn
Under the warmth of it all

Even when it leaves

Where does it go

Is a question I will never
ask of you

Instead

How do we use our limbs
So that we are at

our most little
