Ana Prundaru

Bright Bright Widow

toss your legs under
substance-blind arms
the day hurts

down comes
the moon in your skirt
pours through

cuts to a different railroad town

an absence splits
what you’ve missed pulls away

what hurt you erased
raises the weight of breathing
