Fitz Fitzgerald

seltzer for mottled Easter monday
the guard’s in Sandtown in sand gear
Mobtown’s always up for a riot
knocked from a horse on St. Paul’s
defused in the Little Gunpowder
silvery schist on your skin
residency in a floating world
“this is your drinking water”
a white-hatted man on a John Deere
a fiddlehead jukebox plays
move away, come back, move away
the farmer & his dog come back & say
“it’s a lot more fun if you get naked”
