Tingting Wei

Superfood Poem

ACAI,
A LYING BLUEBERRY,
YOU STAIN MY STOMACH FAT

FLAX,
YOU ARE A BIT USELESS UNLESS
HIDDEN INSIDE COOKIE DOUGH

GOJI,
LIKE A MAIL-ORDER BRIDE
YOU GROW IN VALUE WHEN EXPORTED

KOMBUCHA,
YOU WERE HELD IN THE HANDS
OF LINDSAY LOHAN

SPIRULINA,
YOU LOOK LIKE SEAWEED,
BUT WITHOUT THE SEA
